We are seeking a vibrant, independent, and detail-focused individual with a keen interest in the wellness space and social media marketing to become a part of our team as a Social Media Marketing Intern.
Details:
- Part time – 2 or 3 days a week between 10am- 5pm (3 hours a day)
- In-person preferred.
- For Credit (Non-paid)
- Minimum three months commitment with possible extension
Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management: Manage social media content creation and posting schedule using Later software.
- Sample Management: Coordinating press, influencer, and consumer gifting, sample shipments, mailers, etc.
- Research: Daily research
- Writing: Assist in email and blog post creation
- Internal Brainstorms: Participate in internal brainstorm sessions and ideating creative campaigns for social media and paid ads, outreach, and seeding efforts
- Assist with day-to-day needs and ad hoc projects
- Work closely with the company’s founders
Requirements and qualifications:
- LA based
- Driver’s license and mode of transportation for occasional errands (ie: mailing samples)
- Currently enrolled in a college/university program
- Previous experience in a professional work setting
- Experience with social media platforms and content creation (important)
- Self-starter
- Positive and can-do attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for health and wellness
- Interest in social media and digital marketing
